The Fete de la Musique, also known as World Music Day, is a festival promoting music which began in France, but has spread to Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Britain, China, Morocco, Pakistan, India, Philippines, and other countries. Completely different from a music festival, the Fete de la Musique is above all a free popular fete, open to any participant (amateur or professional mucians) who wants to perform in it. This music day allows the expression of all styles of music in a cheerful atmosphere. It aims at a large audience, working to popularize musical practice for young and not so young people from all social backgrounds. The man was charged with theft and illegal appropriation. Police said Wednesday that he returned all $1,000 worth of underwear to the woman.

They said he stole the items from his 29-year-old neighbor over a period of several months in the rural town of Orocovis. She apparently had to keep buying more to replace those that vanished from her line.
